Yesterday was my last day doing BBQ/Buffet dinner with my colleagues and manager. SUN would be my official last day. What a way to start the holidays huh. FRI's last day of school and holidays(2 weeks) OFFICIALLY STARTED with FARIDAH shouting, "I'm FREEEEEE!!!!" when she left the class. Haha.Rushed to work straight away after my test(another gone case one, sighh...) ended at 4.45pm. When i reach Pan Pacific, it was already like 5.50pm already. SO DAMN LATE! When my work is supposed to start at 6pm. But i've already told RATIH, my new assistant manager, that i'll be late. Rush rush!!
BRUNCH's almost FULL-HOUSE yesterday, with Smoking area fully occupied and Non-Smoking area left with 3 tables only. Host doesn't have an easy job also okay! When i told FRANKIE that i'm leaving soon, he said "How can i lose sucha good host?!" Haha. Flattered, but i think he's just using 'sweet words' to make me stay.
Went to help BOON HWA in Smoking area when all my reservation persons have came. Busy like hell i tell you! But in the admist of busy-ness, i 'helped' an ang moh guy 'hookup' a female guest(who happens to work in the hotel too). Actually there were 2 guys(one ang moh, one asian) at the table. They stopped me when i was working and ask my opinions on which woman i would choose, 9 o'clock, 12 o'clock, or 2 o'clock.
9 o'clock - The female guest who happens to work in the hotel, who's quite well, hmm...errm... (not imitating the McGriddles ad).
12 o'clock - My current manager, who's too old for me to be true.
2 o'clock - My upper boss's friend, who has long permed hair.
So i told him that i would choose 9 o'clock, because she looks quite demure and also quite pretty(though she's an asian) and most importantly she doesn't smokes (i think so, cause i hasn't seen her smoke before). Then the ang moh gave me the i-totally-agree-with-you kinda expression and further said that she makes a great sex partner -_-", with her assets and stuff. I errr-ed... Ang mohs... Obviously 12 o'clock i wouldn't choose her, cause she's not my kind of type. And 2 o'clock would be a definite no cause she smokes.
The ang moh then asked me, would giving her deserts(fruits/chocolates) be better or red wine. I said the latter cause i noticed that the 9 o'clock female guest loves to drink red wine. One flaw about her is that, she has some speaking problems. Sometimes i don't understand what is she trying to say. So i brought a glass of red wine (not the usual red wine glass we used for BBQ dinner) to the ang moh to offer to the 9 o'clock female guest.
I think the 'hookup' was quite successful. In the end the female guest moved to the ang moh's table and sat down for a chat, not forgetting the asian guy sitting with them. Who knows what happens after dinner? Hmmm...
Oh well... Just another day in BRUNCH...
Coming WED probably going to ZOUK for LADIES NIGHT with V,J and Jeff. Maybe it's my turn to hookup some pretty girls over there. Haha. JUST KIDDING!
