<-- Taken by thou. The Look of Satisfaction.

HEY HEY HEY!!! LOOK WHO'S BACK!!! Haha, terribly sorry for the late updates. Tired nights = Lazy ESMOND. Alright, enough 'explaining' myself and get down to the LATE NIGHT TALK WITH ESMOND! I'll be updating in no chronological order, so expect alot of random posts. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

WEDNESDAY (23rd April)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FIONA which falls on TUES. So since on WED i don't have school and most of them don't end school that late, we(AI JUN, GUAN PENG and ME) decided to celebrate FIONA's birthday on that day.

Before meeting them at Somerset station, i quickly went to get a gift for her at Raffles City Shopping Mall after my gym session. Anthropology was the shop where i got her a stylish and fashionable pink notebook, the present. Since pink was one of her favourite colour, hence the colour picked. Went to Prints to get it wrapped in contemporary sleek white with silver designed box cover and ribbon, of course 'emblazoned' with some of thou's words in glittery gold pen.

As usual, PRINCESS FIONA was late so AI JUN waited for her, or so called 'coincidently' came together. So before they arrived, i went to meet the early bird GUAN first to reserve a place at The Balcony, Heeren. Without forgetting the cake, both of us brisk walked to Breaktalk, The Centrepoint.

Skipped the blah blah of waiting for them and getting the cake 'hidden' with The Balcony's staff and off we sat on our reserved table. Just a word of caution though, next time if you wanna go to The Balcony to dine, think twice. Oh wait, or should i say NEVER CONSIDER THE BALCONY. THE SERVICE SIMPLE SUCKS TO THE CORE!!! There's this male waiter with a stuck-up attitude, giving us the we-can't-afford-to-pay attitude. Though the ambience and the decor is fabulous, the service just simple pulls it down to its bottom pit. Maybe thus the few number of people dining.

We continued to order our main course, set dinner, and you know what he asked? "Wait, how many set dinner are you going to order?" So what now, there's a limit to a number of set dinners that we 'paupers' can order?! Tolerated... Next thing, FIONA asked whether could we have ice water to quench our thirst, from the same male waiter. He replied, "Since all of you ordered set dinner, i can give you 1 round of ice water." I immediately gave FIONA the WHAT-THE-______ face. 1 ROUND OF ICE WATER. AWESOME. Seriously la, how much can 4 glasses of ice water, practically from the tap, cost you? Even the restaurant i'm working at, in a 5 stars hotel, serve ice water without prompting!

All of us were shocked and agreed that the service that the male waiter's offering seriously sucks. The ice water even tasted weird. FIONA commenting that it tastes like lipstick but to me it doesn't taste like that(cause i don't know how a lipstick tastes) but the taste is still weird.

Had our main course and desert. There came the cake after MUCH hinting to the same waiter who happens to be there at the moment. So the cake just popped right in front of FIONA WITHOUT ANY birthday song sang by the staff. In the end, we had to initiate the birthday song. So you see, how terrible is the service there?! At BRUNCH, we ALWAYS sing birthday song whenever we present the cake to the person. After footing the bill, i really had this urge to complain to the manager to consider sacking him, but i didn't in the end. YOU'D BETTER BE GLAD!

Ok, from here onwards it's gonna be some random posts...

I had this small 'primary school reunion' in class. Was having lunch in class with MEI TING sitting opposite me, so we just started talking about primary school days. Only to find out that she once stayed in Bedok Reservoir and from Bedok West Primary School, was is so coincidently opposite my school which is Damai Primary School. So since AXEL who's my current classmate and also my primary schoolmate, came to join our small talk. I even told them that i had this feeling that my pri school was once a hospital. MEI TING also said that she had the same hunch, and some rumours were spreading too. So maybe i was right huh...

Ohh yea i remembered seeing my classmate wearing a Abercrombie & Fitch berms. So a couple of days later i asked him how much did he buy it for. His brother apparantly went to San Francisco so got it from the A&F shop there for 50 bucks. At first i thought it was 50USD, so i gave the disappointed expression cause it's abit expensive converting back to sing dollars. So the next moment, he said it's S$50. MY EYES LITERALLY LIT UP! "REALLY? ARE YOU SURE???" Then that's the case the price is reasonable!! But the only problem is, they only have their authentic shops in the US, no where else.

So today i asked my dad where are we heading this holiday? I told him i wanna go to US, since we also wanted to go to US. But the only holiday which my brother's and mine the same is during December, which also meant one thing... WINTER IN THE US! ARGHHH!!! Summer is the season that i want. So other alternatives for holiday would be Australia, New Zealand and possibly Hong Kong. I've visited Australia countless times already, so going to New Zealand(for the 2nd time) and Hong Kong(1st time) would be better. But going to Australia again isn't sucha bad idea too, cause i can get their causal wear from MOOKS and AUSSIEBUM and some major shops there. SUMMER SUMMER SUMMER! HERE I COME!!!

After my bedsheet was changed, i smelt my bolster(yes, i still have my 'weapon') and the smell was familiar. It smells like Mercedes Benz car upholstery. I still remember the smell from my cousin's parents cars. Hmmm, weird...

Before i started my night shift for SAT, which was practically almost full house with left like 2 tables, i went to have my dinner at the canteen. HBO was airing The Lakehouse. THAT IS ONE MOVIE THAT YOU HAVE TO WATCH!!! VERY RECOMMENDABLE!!! Though that movie has been out a few years back. I bought the DVD last year, together with Flight Plan which stars JODIE FOSTER. So if you want to borrow it, let me know... It was a very very very busy night that SAT.

Still have to work on SUN and it was terrible. Though doing service was alright but i had to clear up, tidy up the various 'rooms'. Music room, Beverage store, Back store and Back Area of stewarding. Threw alot of stuff and kinda organised everything together before i was released at 7++PM. There's a spot-check this coming MON thus the clearing up. Everything has to be in proper order, floor mopped thoroughly and etc.

Went for dinner at Tampines area with family and saw this lady with flawless skin. Macham like coming out right from the advertisement advertising for some skincare product. PORCELAIN SKIN SIA!!! Though there's makeup on, but i don't think it's that thick. She's just sitting one table diagonally across ours. Let's hope that i'm not wrong...

Alright, that's all folks! The pictures i'll upload them some other time, probably on MON. GOODNIGHT!
