Today we had our first lab lesson and it was fun, yet confusing and lost. I happened to wake up SUPER LATE today at 6.47AM. When i saw the time, i literally sprung up and sped through all my daily morning routines before taking bus 168 at around 7.40AM.
When i reach Woodlands Interchange it's already 8.30AM. OH MAN... And i can say HELLO to my downgrading of grades. Sighh.
AND! We had to wear long pants for lab sessions, so my grey skinnies came to mind. I'm a virgin towards skinnies so I wanted to try and see how was the first time like. And the result was super weird. Macham like squeezing every part of your lower body to the maximum and then portraying them out in the 'nicest' way possible. -_-". But my friends said first time wearing skinnies is like that, wear it more times and it wouldn't feel weird anymore. I guess so?
Went to the Laboratory at second meeting and the moment we're decked in our lab coats and goggles, we started taking pictures. Haha. What's more the faci is inside the lab, mind you. The goggles are freaking retarded. So big and so 'zor tang'(disturbing).
When we started the lesson proper, we were immediately lost in what we're supposed to do. What mix with what and etc. We were terribly lost, our team that is. But i saw other teams were like struggling too. Approached the faci and she gave us some guidelines and hints so from there we did the calculations before finding out the exact amount of solution we need. It's all about FORMULAS, FORMULAS and MORE FORMULAS! Mole, Molar, Molecular Mass and etc. I've already forgotten those stuff already. Imagine the long transition from secondary school to poly, how could i remember so many formulas? Luckily there's laptop for us to research and find the formulas. So the day was saved, just that tiny winy bit.
In the end, we didn't really complete our experiment but tried our best in the process and the lab report that we've made wasn't that concise either but it's still presentable and has the essential details that the lab report needs.
Okay, it's time for me to spring into bed and wake up early the next day.
Our fashionable 'trenchcoats' & 'shades'.
