SORRY BOYS & GIRLS! Lately i've been feeling lethargic after my work thus the absence of the posts. So i'm going to do them now.MONDAY
Didn't do much. Just went to Great World City to find similar salt & pepper casing for BRUNCH since some are broken already. Went to quite alot of furniture(Molecule, Iwannagohome, and etc) shops and search for them. Can't find any similar ones so i went to ZARA instead. Haha. Managed to get a tee from there. Saw AUDREY & her colleague(i think). She's working as an administrative staff at one of the office buildings over there. Thought wouldn't see anyone familiar over there but i still did, despite all odds. Haha.
WEDNESDAY
Was supposed to go out with MEL(Wen Min) but due to unforseen circumstances, it was called off. Sigh. Was in the gym locker room wanting to go off already then tell me can't... Called GUAN last minute if he can accompany me to Orchard to buy my stuff & get KRISTEL's present. She's my ex-colleague, from Billy Bombers. What she wanted was a soft toy, a Winnie-the-Pooh soft toy. And she's 20! AIYO! GROW UP LAAAA... This day was the suay-est man... I went to deposit my pay($354) into UOB Cash Deposit Machine. Not noticing the note that disallows 2 dollar notes to be put in, i went ahead with the 2 bucks. In the end, after my i took my card out from the machine, the screen suddenly went "This CDM is temporarily Out Of Order." I was like, HUH?!?! WHAT THE?!?!?! MY 300++ BUCKS IS STILL STUCKED IN THE MACHINE! I panicked and even approach the security guard for help.
He told me to call the assistance hotline that appeared on the screen. Called, and all i got was a series of "For.... Please Press 1...... Please Press 2.... To speak to our officers, please press 0." I headed for "0" immediately and i still have to wait. No one was answering as all the officers were busy. Are they really that busy? Waited for almost 10 minutes - 20 mintues until someone finally took my call. During that duration i almost kept saying the infamous word but decided to use "FREAK" instead. Everything was settled when i received a call today(SAT) that they've already credited the amount to my account. So bought the soft toy, and gotten a GAP tee(39 bucks) and a FCUK tee(69 bucks). That French Connection tee was unique, it has pockets at the bottom of the tee so it acts like a jacket or what you wanna call it.
Today(SATURDAY)
When i told YU JING that i wanted to go shopping, she immediately "SET! ON!". Haha. What's worse is that she totally forgot that she has already planned to go out with her boyfriend. So she told him she was going out with her girl friend. What the hell... And so i became her 'girl friend' for a day, and at the end of the day i looked like a butler carrying so many shopping bags(mostly mine, Haha). If YU JING told her bf that she was going out with a guy, her bf would be more pissed off as he's a more possessive person and etc. I feel sad for her, always have to endure his scoldings/naggings and the lack of freedom. Sighh. This is why i'm not into relationship, yet. I'm a person who needs lots of freedom, and i mean A LOT.
So we set off to VIVO. Went to Armani Exchange and i managed to get a white undies for 39 bucks & a berms for 169 bucks so totalling to 208 bucks. Yes, i do spend alot, Alot, ALOT! I seriously need a financial planner. I just love white undies. Haha. Don't you? WHITE MIGHTY UNDIES TO THE RESCUE! Walked walked walked... Stopped at NewUrbanMale and got a dark grey tee which says "God is a dj Life is a dance floor & i'm a Party Boy". I liked the colour scheme and it looks abit vintage-gy to me, with the "80S" behind. 45 bucks, after discount.
Proceeded to Forever 21 and so YU JING got 2 clothing from there, a blue(abit of African Flavour) shirt & a green(simple) shirt from there. Told her to get one light grey colour dress with golden embroidery at the neck area there. She told me it was kinda ex since it was 60 bucks. See, my taste! I have an expensive taste. Haha!
Today was also ALEX's or BRITTANY's drag competition. Held at PLAY. YU JING accompanied me so we went there to support him. But never did i knew, i was denied entry. Simply, i was under 18. "Aiya, a few more days only... be more flexible la..." I tried to say that to the female bouncer but still couldn't. "Alright then, i understand. You're just doing your job." So we had no choice but to give it a miss.
Went to a nearby vintage + sleek restaurant/bar to have our dinner. The ambience was fantastic. Jazz music filled the place, with the decor and everything it was simply astounding! Broth, Bar Restaurant On The Hill. This is the place to be! Of course what's even more 'alluring' was the price of the food. Main course going at 30+ bucks, it was rather expected. I ordered this awesome dish - Truffle Poached Chicken Breast w Spring Vegetables, Tarragon Butter & Veal Sausage. And this is at 34 bucks. YU JING ordered some fishy dish and costs 36 bucks. After our main course, we shared the desert - Rich Belgian Chocolate w Port Wine Cherries, for 15.50 bucks. The cherries weren't like any cherries outside, they were addictive(probably it's the wine that made me feel that way) I'm not a cherry-eater kinda person but this cherry simply gotten me all addictive! What's more, the rich chocolate was simply heavenly. The moment it enters your mouth, it's just melts... What can i say Belgium chocolates are one of the best in the world, don't play play ah, i sell chocolates before so i know.
Total amounting to 85.50 bucks. OMG! THIS IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE MEAL I'VE EVER EATEN TILL DATE! But they don't charge Service Charge & they absorb GST. Isn't that great? But we voluntarily tipped them. So instead of paying 85.50 bucks, i wrote down 90 bucks. Must tip them ma, keep refilling my drink for umpteen times until i visted the restroom twice... Haha. The awards that they've earned/claimed caught my eyes when we were leaving the bar restaurant. So after all, it's all worth it.
But then THIS IS THE DAY WHERE I SPENT THE MOST! A total of 298 bucks(only for today) were charged to my Debit card. Including the recent things i've bought, total amounting to around 450++ bucks. There goes my salary, and i still need to take out my reserves. It's worth it, it's worth it! And i'm not consoling myself, seriously...
